I think the raptors will finish the season 49 and 33.
They will make the playoffs and be the 4th seed.

key Q is how lowry plays after he got paid and also how the Lithuanian playa
Derozan will never be elite, all star yes but he wont be elite

I think lowry's numbers will be slightly less than last years. Jonas will probably average the same may be a couple more point per game.

Jonas numbers way higher he proved himself in FIBA

I see Raptors making 4th seed as well

FIBA doesn't really mean anything. The competition and athleticism in the NBA is way higher.

Gasol is a beast in FIBA but has a dramatic decline in the NBA

Raptors will be 47-35 but still be 3rd in the East
Cleveland
Chicago
Toronto
Washington (46-36)

Look at the stats jump from previous years, he is ready to be a legit 1B option

good point, propped
cuious to see how many bigs did better vs USA, maybe a few but not many

Honestly, I have to see how is doing in the first month of the season, not totally sold yet (I hope I am wrong though). It is still FIBA lol, like I said before the level of competition, the level of defence played, and the overall athleticism in the NBA is far superior.

He played decently well against USA which is obviously great competition
jagice21 — 2014-10-02T13:40:32-04:00 — #13
Agreed but that is one game. Jonas' problem has always been consistency.

Do you see Jonas as a franchise player?
jagice21 — 2014-10-03T12:44:55-04:00 — #15
No I do not. I think he can be a solid number 2 option, but I don't think he will be dominant like a Shaq.

Nobody will be like a Shaq in the near future but looking at the current Raptors roster, who do you see as the franchise player?
